The Work At Height SWMS covers the processes and procedures that need to be followed when preparing to work at height.
This Work At Height SWMS includes sections on: Pre-start inspection, general work at height, use of EWP, use of guard rails for roof work, working on scaffolds, use of work positioning systems, use of fall arrest systems, maintenance of equipment.
This SWMS does not cover the use of ladders, Elevated Work Platforms (e.g. cherry pickers, scissor lifts), erecting of scaffolding, attaching restraints, the installation of edge protection, work tasks in fine detail. Specific SWMS may be required for these tasks and are available via links below.
This Work At Height SWMS is compliant with the requirements and guidelines for the relevant Code of Practice and the WHS Regulations.
