Steps taken earlier making the area and machine safer protected ourselves from litigation. Unfortunately, this was a simple case of operator error and were glad to say our employee will be returning to us shortly.
The Safe Work NSW representative that conducted the inspection after the incident praised us for being proactive, he seemed to relax a little and be more willing to work with us once he knew we’d taken these steps earlier. He also knew of Lydia and spoke highly of her and the knowledge she brings to the industry.
