Product Description
The Working around Electricity SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) covers workers who work in close proximity or adjacent to live electrical equipment or services, or where workers may accidently come in close contact with energised electrical installations in a workplace or on a worksite. Workers using electrical equipment must refer to the SWMS for that specific machine, equipment, plant or task.
This SWMS does not cover working on energised electrical installations, such as High Voltage works, as this type of work requires highly qualified persons holding specialised qualifications, experience and permits to conduct work on energised installations.
This Working around Electricity SWMS does not cover work that is not electrical work carried out on telephone, communication and data systems or repair of consumer electrical equipment when unplugged from any electrical socket outlet.
This SWMS template is compliant with the requirements and guidelines for the relevant Code of Practice and the WHS Regulations.
